ABOUT NOURNOUR ALKHEDER
BEHINDTHE WORK
FILMMAKER.
PHOTOGRAPHER.
RESEARCHER.
I am Nour Alkheder, a Syrian-Dutch filmmaker, photographer and researcher based in Amsterdam.
Memory.
Belonging.
Human connection.
My work explores memory, belonging and the emotional lives of people. I am drawn to the ways an image can make a feeling tangible, and to the space where observation and imagination meet.
I graduated from the Netherlands Film Academy in 2024. Alongside making films, my practice includes photography and research, following questions that begin with people and the places around them.
